Poetry Submission Guidelines
Has someone you know been traveling the pill track as a solution to life's problems. In our present culture, the pill has become panacea. We are currently accepting submissions for a poetry anthology on the subject of the proliferation of psychotropic drugs (Prozac, Zoloft, Ritalin, etc.) in society and the deleterious effects of these on spirit and body. We would like to receive works from all those concerned with this issue--citizens, friends, relatives and ex-patients.
This anthology will include works which reflect on the delibitating nature of anti-depressants. How pills dampen the spirit and do not address the source of the difficulty. It is an offering of hope for those seeking an alternative to medicating. There are numerous resources listed within this blog. If you have questions please do not hesitate to contact us.
We are advocates of the human spirit. This anthology will also include works that relate to the subject of spirituality--poems that exemplify the power and beauty of the spirit in any style or genre. Please email submissions to pillblues@sbcglobal.net. Mail in submissions with SASE to P.O. Box 1089, La CaƱada, CA 91012. Proceeds will benefit Citizens Commission on Human Rights. (CCHR.org) an organization dedicated to exposing psychiatric abuse. Maximum of 4 poems published per poet (you may submit up to 10)
